PATTERN INFORMATION

This pattern is quite simple and beginner friendly. However, working with raffia can be a bit tricky, and the different parts need to be steamed and blocked.

The hat consists of three separate pieces which will be connected in the end. First you make the sides that consist out of granny squares and 1 or 2 rounds of SC on the top and bottom edge, depending on the size. Then you make the top piece and connect it to the granny squares using slip stitches. Lastly you will make the brim, which will be crocheted around the bottom of the granny squares.
